How it began

It started in a
condo kitchen.

Two people cooked vegan food for whoever wanted to come. Words travelled, friends brought friends, and one evening there were more people than chairs. In 2011 they found a shop in Sri Petaling. Same kitchen, same principles.

How this kitchen works

Six rules,
never bent.

The same six every day, for sixteen years. They are why the food tastes the way it does.

Start here

What everyone
order first.

Three dishes, in the order customers ask for them most.

Made under this roof

Buns, scoops and
small obsessions.

What most cafés buy in, this kitchen makes.

Trays of handmade sourdough buns before baking

Made fresh every time

Our own sourdough.

Shaped by hand, tray by tray. Never yesterday's bun.

Fresh vegan siew bao with sesame on top

The one people post about

Siew bao.

Flaky, savoury, baked here every morning.

A scoop of Loving Café pistachio ice cream on a brownie

Churned in small batches

Real ice cream.

Pistachio, matcha, cacao nib — never flavour syrup.
